Fantastic set at En-Fest last night, definitly the highlight of the weekend! Great to see such dicipline, control and proficiency from all members- the CD is great to, our children especially enjoy the continuity brought by that poor little hamsters mis-fortune! Excellent work, thank you again :)

Dear Flash Harry. Thank you all so much for making the trip to Belfast for our wedding in August. We had the most amazing dayand you were all BRILLIANT. Flash Harry just made our day - it got the party started and our guests absolutely loved your music. We wanted a big, fun celebration and that's what we got. Best wishes, Susan and Luke

Wow! For those who didn't make the gig tonight, you REALLY missed a cracking night. These boys have been together since the 80's and listening to them tonight makes you realise why they're still doing it. Tighter than a duck's doodah, we were entertained by four musicians who know exactly what to do to get feet tapping. Pete Watson on vocals, violin...well pretty much everything is the perfect frontman and tells every musical story with humour and a smile. Roger Slade on guitar was flawless and balanced choppy, driven guitar with lazy slide. On bass, Christopher Mitchell switched from electric bass to upright electric bass with ease and created the best jungle sound this side of...well...anywhere. The three of them blended perfectly with three part harmonies. Sat quietly at the back was John Furlong on drums. A stripped back kit but the precision of an origami master with OCD, he drove the band. At one point, I looked around and there wasn't a foot or hand not tapping to the beat. So, from stories of hamsters to monkeys, Irish boozers to finding out what the colour of money is, we were thoroughly entertained.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for a wonderful set on Saturday night, I thought it was absolutely brilliant but I've also had loads of messages from friends saying how amazing they thought you were...a different style from the usual bands who play here so a bit of a risk but people loved it.

My voice is extremely croaky today...think the Irish Rover finished me off, hope it returns so I can sing along tomorrow night!

Thanks again and hope to catch you again in bristol over the summer

Cheers

Sally
